This intricate bust is Louise Brongniart, one of a pair of siblings, the other being Alexandre; a modern revival of late 18th Century portraits by Jean-Antoine Houdon, the artist who captured perfectly their delicate childhood faces. Part of the Wax Bust collection, featuring enchanting wax portraits in the memory of men, women and children who have marked our history. Cire Trudon has brought back to life the lovely tradition of wax sculptures to be collected rather than consumed.
