AU PAYS DE LA FLEUR D'ORANGER

AU PAYS DE LA FLEUR D'ORANGER
AU PAYS DE LA FLEUR D'ORANGER

Born amidst the fields of the Bitter Orange and Centifolia trees, and since the turn of 20th century, the Roux family has been a pillar to the perfume industry of the Grasse region.

Antoine’s grand-father was flower commissioner to the Grasse and Vence perfume factories. Growing up in the conforting scent of the Bitter Orange flower, Antoine naturally maintained the family tradition of cultivating the legendary resources of his region. United by their passion for their beloved local fragrances, Antoine and Virginie live a true tale of passion and together turn a page in the history of perfume… And together, they have created a timeless bridge linking their historical past to their passionate present and very exciting future.

La Colle sur Loup was one of the regions greatest suppliers of Bitter Orange Blossom and Centafolia rose, until the winter of 1956, when the commune suffered 25 days of freezing temperatures. To the devastation of the community, all but a few Orange Blossom trees perished.
Today, the oldest existing Orange Blossom tree in La Colle sur Loup still stands, proudly and symbolically, in the garden of Virginie and Antoine Roux.

Virginie and Antoine created Au Pays de la Fleur d’Oranger in 1998. And since, they have remained faithful to the regional flowers which have moulded the landscapes of Provence, as well as their destiny : Rose, Jasmin, Lavender, Fig, Lemon, Violet… and of course, the reigning fragrance – the Bitter Orange Blossom.

This exquisite (and exclusive) collection, Les Inedits, is created by Jean Claude Gigodot.
