Keiko Mecheri, the cofounder of Les Perfumes Keiko Mecheri has been a true force in niche and creative perfumery for over a decade. Keiko Mecheri, has been vissionarie in qualitative and artistic fragrance for over a decade and enjoys a “cult following” for her trendsetting fragrance Loukhoum, an olfactive tribute to the “Turkish Delight.” Keiko Mecheri has developed many innovative concept perfumes and has worked with top noses to consult and create distinctive, exclusive perfumes that continue to cut through the clutter of the thousands of fragrances introduced each year.

Keiko Mecheri compositions are olfactive narrations and tactile translations- memories, metaphors, fabrics, far-off locations, and juxtapositions of different cultures. Keiko Mecheri dedicates her work to creating fine fragrance, composed of high quality ingredients, but above all else, her mantra is: “I follow my own intuition of what defines a fragrance, however, my fragrances must smell great and must be wearable”.

Born in Atami, Japan (the Riviera of the Orient), a talented painter and pianist, Keiko Mercheri   immersed herself in the Fine Arts at UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) and thus began her scented path to the 8th Art- Perfumery.  Keiko Mecheri developed her talent for creating perfumes based on fine art principles, and began developing her innovative lines of ready-to-wear perfumes under her own brand that are sold worldwide to carefully curated distribution of select specialty shops.

Keiko Mecheri continually challenges the status quo, by designing and expanding her horizons, and creating fragrances that stand the test of time. Mecheri’s 2009 award winning collection includes four fragrances, which have captivated consumers, retailers, and bloggers with its diversity, dimension and wearablity.  

Keiko Mecheri resides in Beverly Hills, California with her husband and business partner Kamel Mecheri. She is the proud mother of two sons.
